Adrienne Smith
From a young dream of owning a spa to becoming a seasoned expert in holistic health and longevity, Adrienne's journey is nothing short of extraordinary.
As a mechanical engineer in Ohio, she pioneered pre-machining dies for stamping industries—the starting point of a path that would lead her far beyond her initial aspirations.
A pivotal shift occurred when Adrienne ventured into personal training at a local gym, marking a life-changing move. Armed with her first certification, she found herself facing client concerns she couldn't initially address, sparking a passion for research. Delving into this newfound interest, she became adept at providing comprehensive solutions, surpassing her clients' expectations.
A twist of fate led her to Dr. John Gentner's chiropractic office, where a rotated S.I. joint unveiled a scoliotic spine diagnosis from a childhood accident. Applying her engineering mindset, Adrienne visualized her spine as a structure with muscles as levers and pulleys—a revelation that fueled extensive research. This journey brought her to Paul Chek, the developer of corrective exercise, and ultimately led to her certification with C.H.E.K. Institutes.
Despite specializing in corrective exercise, Adrienne never lost her passion for strength and hypertrophy training. Charles Poliquin, a renowned strength coach, became her guide towards holistic health and longevity. Through Poliquin's insights, she discovered the crucial link between gut and brain health, prompting her to embark on her own journey of gut rehabilitation and brain optimization.
With 34 certifications and 26 years of experience spanning strength training, corrective exercise, bodywork, nutrition, and longevity, Adrienne has honed her expertise. For the past 16 years, she has owned a training facility, catering to a diverse clientele—from athletes and the elderly to even 2-week-old infants.
An ardent educator, Adrienne has shared her knowledge through seminars and certifications, imparting wisdom in various coaching specialties. Now, her focus lies on longevity, guiding others to make lifestyle choices that optimize their bodies and mitigate the aging and disease processes. In Adrienne's world, the power to shape our well-being lies in the choices we make, and she is committed to empowering others on their unique paths to health and vitality.
